Color Development Laboratory

The Color Development Laboratory develops custom colors for all color concentrates and pre-colored compounded products for all markets supplied by Washington Penn Plastic. The Color Development personnel work closely with each customer to understand the application and color requirements. In addition to the development of new colors, the Color Development Laboratory supports all the manufacturing facilities with new color scale-ups and color related issues with commercial products.

The Color Development Laboratory is equipped with state of the art spectrophotometers and light booths for the development and quality assurance of color products, in addition to the evaluation and qualification of new pigments.
