Washington Penn Plastic Company recognizes the growing desire to offer a more sustainable or green material that reduces the percentage of petroleum based materials to the market. We have developed a wide ranging exposure to the many bio-based fillers used in polyolefin substrates. There are a number of challenges in identifying a bio-based filler system that provides the best balance of retained properties, heat sensitivity and cost in pursuit of realizing the goal of a more sustainable material.
