Talc Filled Polypropylene

Addition of talc provides a significant increase in stiffness and high temperature performance of polypropylene. Due to the stiffness increase, talc can be used to decrease part thickness while maintaining part integrity, and providing cost savings. Typical applications for talc filled polypropylene are high-heat environments, such as under-the-hood automotive parts, appliance components, and thermoformed packaging products including microwaveable products.
